Seduction is the best revenge...
Trish Henderson has returned home to Eden to take care of some family business…and some personal business, as well. Though she’s achieved remarkable success as a high-powered Indianapolis attorney, Trish has never forgotten her small-town high school sweetheart, Joe Ramsey, or the devastation of heartbreak.
Now she’s come face-to-face with the gorgeous sex god Joe has grown into, and she’s determined to get him out of her system once and for all – and maybe take a little revenge, too. And this time, she has all the power. After all, where is it written that only men can explore and enjoy a physical relationship without commitment? Her plan: seduce him for just one night, then walk away…
But there’s just one problem. Trish is about to find out that one night with Joe may never be enough…

A Romance Reader at Heart Top Pick
Readers may be surprised to hear that Tempt Me Tonight is actually an older project, which first came to be nearly ten years ago. At the time I was unpublished and targeting the old Harlequin Temptation line. I later sold three books to Temptation, but they passed on Tempt Me Tonight, which I then called Seduce Me Tonight. Yet the story stayed with me and I always wished I had found a good publishing home for it. So when it came time for my second book at Avon, the story came back to mind and I thought about ways I could expand and deepen it to make it more like the books I’m currently writing. When I pitched it, Avon liked the idea, and Tempt Me Tonight finally had a wonderful home!
As for the original idea for the story … well, back in the late nineties, when I wrote the first version, it was a rather racy concept in romance to have a woman very actively and decidedly seduce a man, believe it or not, and I was intrigued by how the experience would change Trish. The small farm town setting was a natural one for me as I grew up in just such a place, so it was fun and easy to write.
As it turns out, I’m really glad the original version of this book didn’t sell, because the current one is much improved! Proving, of course, that it was all meant to be. Especially since Tempt Me Tonight was excerpted in the June 2007 issue of Cosmo! That's right - THE Cosmo! Color me ecstatic.
